We picked out round pieces for the eyes, mouth and buttons. In between snow flurries the other day, I took the wood outside and sprayed them with a couple of coats of black paint.
This evening before dinner, we went outside and made our little snowman. He looks like a night watchman standing guard in our front yard! Ava named him "Happy".
Hey, I forgot his corncob pipe! But I did remember a fresh carrot for his nose! Can't get twigs for his arms as they are buried 10 feet under the snow right now...tee hee
